Suzanne Pilcher is a graduate of both James Cook University and CATC Design School in Australia.

After spending 5+ years working in the creative departments of fashion companies in Sydney, Suzanne spread her wings and took off around the world, working remotely as a designer and creative director between SE Asia and Europe for 2 years before making Yunbenun (Magnetic Island) her home base.

After freelancing under her own name for many years, Suzanne founded and currently leads Studio Solstice; an independent creative studio servicing brands that are focussed on selling artisan goods, empowering human creativity, building community, cultivating wellness of body and mind, or helping the natural environment. In addition to working 1:1 with her clients, in 2024, Suz has also set out on a new mission to create educational offers that help makers and small business owners in the early stages of their business journeys to find clarity and build connection with their audiences through their own DIY branding.
